The Coles County Historical Society depends on your help and contributions to achieve the purpose stated in its slogan, "Preserving Yesterday for Tomorrow". To involve both children and adults in developing an understanding of our county's history through use of its programs, exhibits, artifacts and archives is a difficult challenge for the Society. It needs help by you becoming a member, making financial contributions, and/or helping as a volunteer.

Memberships can be at one of the following levels:
Benefactor $500
Patron $200
Sustaining $100
Friend $50
Family $25
Individual $15

Memberships run from January to December expiring on December 31st. All contributions are tax deductible by the donor to the limit permitted by law.

Some suggested areas for additional contributions are listed below:

Dudley House
Greenwood School
Maintenance
Depot Museum

As you visit the website and you see something else you would particularly like to support you are encouraged to do so. Many programs such as those at the Greenwood School need financial help every year. You could make a sustaining contribution to one of these and know you are helping local school children for years to come.
